Obesity and its Net Result
It is more than just a few extra pounds take a minute and ponders that your lifestyle may be taking you to a point which may knock off your life.
What obesity means perhaps may not be known to most of us, or if we have a familiarity with this term, we are unaware of the dreadful implications that it brings along with it. We have been hearing that health is wealth. This is perhaps something that we have been hearing since childhood but have no idea that how this obesity can ruin in both the health and the wealth.
Obesity is the heavy accumulation of fat in the body to such an extent that it raises the level of risk of various diseases that not only damages health but may also knock off your years of life. This reduces the life expectancy and leading to many other health problems. Obesity is the leading cause of death worldwide. Health experts consider it the most important challenge for the public health in 21st centuries.
At an individual-level obesity is caused by many factors. These may include excessive food energy intake and lack of physical activity. These two are considered the main factors triggering obesity, but in a research conducted in 2006 four important contributors were identified by the researchers that are chiefly responsible for the increase in obesity in recent years. These contributors are as follows,
• Inadequate sleep
• Decreased rate of smoking as it snubs appetite
• Excessive use of those medicines that causes weight gain
• Late age pregnancies which increases vulnerability to obesity in children
Psychologically also one feels depressed if it is caught in the tangles of Obesity because everyone wants to look fit, smart, healthy and beautiful. Obesity affects your body image, and in some cases yourself esteem too. Following is the few consequences or outcomes if you are suffering from obesity:
• Complexities in Inhaling.
• Complexities in walking or running.
• Excessive sweating.
• Severe Joint and back pains.
• Skin related problems also trigger because of obesity such as acne.
• Hypertension is the most common and dangerous implication of obesity.
Since obesity is the accumulation of excessive fat in the body so cholesterol is the eminent outcome of obesity which blocks heart arteries and causes major heart attacks.
• Diabetes is also a deadly disease related to corpulence.
• Some types of cancers are also caused by obesity.
These are the diseases that are the outcome of corpulence. These are very deadly diseases that can knock off man's life. These are the most common factors that increase the mortality rate before the age of 75. That is why obesity enhances the chances of death in a corpulent person. To avoid corpulence you need to have a proper diet plan and increase the intake of fresh fruits and vegetables.
